Pretty slick bro! Your conceptual work is getting stronger and you continually up your digital skills. That said, the overall piece is a bit dim. Lighten it up a bit. Also adding some deeper shadows will give certain areas a stronger POP. Possibly some green to go with the earthy color palette. Overall good job man. Keep it up!
Awesome work Chud! I'd hate to meet that thing in a dark alley...er...desert!
I like the overall sense / mood of oncoming danger for the little traveler on the dune. He's got bad weather and a sand monster to handle, and the titled angle on the pieces is meant to add to the uneasiness. As for the dunes themselves, I would drag a few of them out somewhat so that they flow into each other more / not feel as separated. Maybe shrink the guy just a tad too.
One thing that may be interesting is to either have the monster's right hand fade / melt into the water more, or somehow show the oasis being sucked up into his arm (maybe have a palm tree sticking out of it?). Play around with it and see what happens. Nice work as always, bro!
I wish that there were guys like this at the beach.
Are you out of your mind? ;-) This feels sort of like a Magic card; I don't know if that's what you were going for or not. The little dude in the sand is a great touch.
